Sports Nutrition

Whether you are a weekend warrior, just getting started, or a long-time runner or body builder wanting to shed body fat to increase performance, the Train with Aim program can help you. You’ll learn about: 

  • What to eat before your exercise
  • How to fuel during and after your exercise
  • Healthy, nutritious dense snacks
  • Dietary supplements
  • How to avoid being tired or sluggish

 
Diagnosed Conditions

We’ll set up a program to get you back to normal levels for total cholesterol, LDL cholesterol, HDL cholesterol, and triglycerides. You’ll learn how to choose foods to help decrease your “bad” cholesterol and increase your “good” cholesterol. You’ll also learn about omega 6 and omega 3 polyunsaturated fats, monounsaturated fats, saturated fats, and how to implement these fats into your diet.

For hypertension and high lipid levels, you’ll learn how to decrease dietary saturated fatty acids and increase polyunsaturated fats. We’ll review in detail all the dietary elements that affect these conditions, including dietary cholesterol, protein, complex carbohydrates, fiber, and salt.

If you’re pregnant or nursing, we’ll make sure you are getting all the nutrients you need for you and your baby. And if you want to get back to your pre-pregnancy weight, we’ll set up a program to help you get there with the proper nutrition.
